Tomorrow I am having three (only have three!) wisdom teeth removed (Read: Cut out). This weekend here in Wichita there is the Central and West car show, Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning, and Autocross on Sunday morning... all on 65 degree Fahrenheit days (approx. 18 C to you non-Mericans) :( Oh well, at least I will be wasted on the good painkillers!

I had three removed last Christmas break. I took it insanely well, so well that I was up and around like normal like three hours after, I went to Chipotle the next day, and went bowling the day after that.*

Stock up on soft, tasty foods, enjoy the painkillers, keep your mouth clean! You may find that, like DWhite, things go nice and easy, or you end up with a long, annoying recovery process. (I had a nasty infection after the worst of my goofy wisdom teeth was cut out, which meant two extra weeks of antibiotics and office visits.)

:/ I'm still not sure how to feel about all of this...

I had two removed about 5 or 6 years ago. I only had wisdom teeth in my bottom jaw. On top, where they would normally be, there's nothing.

It was mostly my fault. Just follow the instructions and be sure to clean your mouth up before the appointment.

I second DWhite's advice, I had four out a few summers ago and I worked a 10 hour day scooping ice cream and dealing with customers on my feet the next day. A neat trick is to clamp a wet tea bag in the back of your mouth if you start to have a little bleeding, it causes the vessels to contract and feels good man.

I may have to try that!
